I’m driving to the library the other day behind an older model white pickup truck. On the back of the trucks gate is a crudely hand-lettered cardboard sign that is duct-taped on. The sign reads, “The older I get, the better I used to be.”
What’s the thought process you go through when you take the effort to hand-letter this sign, attach it to your car, then proceed to drive around your own neighborhood? What message are you trying to convey? “I’m not aging well and by god, I’m letting the world know!”
